IT Support Specialist

REPS is seeking an IT support person to oversee IT systems and assets, assist with upgrades and fixes, and provide training and support as needed. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of computer hardware and software, network maintenance, and industry trends to keep us on the cutting edge. Engaging with employees throughout the company, the IT support person will have an immediate impact on the efficiency of our operations and overall growth. As REPS is a small business, the role will also allow the person to branch out as needed into adjacent tasks such including technical illustration, database support, and software development., * Install, configure, and support workstation software, hardware, printers, and phones

• Analyze IT needs, identify vulnerabilities, and boost efficiency and accuracy
• Execute systems and network design, documentation, implementation, testing, and administration, and ensure components meet business needs and work together seamlessly
• Implement applications and software upgrades and troubleshoot any performance issues
• Train employees in using software and hardware, and provide technical support when needed
• Perform other business tasks as required in support of REPS' programming, illustration, or other team functions
• Communicate status of projects to company leadership

Do you have experience in Task prioritization?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Deep knowledge of operating systems, current equipment and technologies, backup and recovery procedures, and system performance monitoring tools

• Able to coordinate with team members and other functions
• Able to be self-motived and work independently to meet deadlines
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of company information

Preferred skills and qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in computer science
• Project management experience
• Professional certification
• Two years of experience in IT
