  • Direct Landman Support: Act as the primary technical right-hand to our Landman Team, executing the day-to-day GIS tasks required to keep our land projects moving forward.
  • Claim Map Production: Create high-accuracy mineral claim maps for both field navigation and formal regulatory filings. You will ensure every map meets state statutes and Bureau of Land Management (BLM) requirements.
  • Field Team Liaison: Serve as the GIS backbone for our field crews. You'll prepare the digital maps they take into the field and process the data they bring back to ensure "Ground Truth" is accurately reflected in our databases.
  • Land Status & Research: Assist in conducting research through online databases and county records to determine if locations are open for mineral entry, feeding that data directly into your ArcGIS workflows.
  • Data Stewardship: Maintain organized geodatabases and project files within ArcGIS Pro, ensuring that our mapping data is clean, consistent, and ready for immediate use by the land team.

  • You Are a "Value-Adder": You don't just check boxes. You have a "Can-do" attitude and are always looking for ways to improve a process or provide more value to a client's project.
  • You Are Curious: You are eager to learn about the entire mining lifecycle-from construction aggregates to precious metals-and how land status impacts the U.S. mineral supply chain., * Technical Skills: * Strong working knowledge of ArcGIS Pro is required.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience is preferred, but we will consider ambitious early-career candidates with a strong technical foundation. Previous Landman experience is not required-we will train the right person.
