Experience a dynamic work environment with excellent benefits., The Department of Finance is the competence centre for the professional and efficient procurement, provision, and management of the resources necessary for fulfilling state tasks. The Office for Financial Services is responsible for managing the state accounting system. The SAP S/4HANA financial systems are also operated by the IT Finance and Logistics organisation within the Office for Financial Services. This office is responsible for providing and further developing the cantonal-wide finance and logistics systems as well as their integration into the overall IT architecture. This includes, besides SAP S/4HANA, various portal solutions, SAP Fiori, the SAP Integration Suite, and SAP Analytics Cloud.

SAP PSCD and Finance Specialist (m/f/d)
Workload: 80-100 %
Workplace: St. Gallen
What to expect
- You continuously support and develop the SAP modules in the finance area (especially PSCD/FI).
- You ensure the stable, efficient, and audit-compliant operation of the SAP-based financial processes.
- You ensure the correct mapping of business processes in the areas of receivables management, clearing, and payment transactions.
- You analyse requirements from the specialist departments, prioritise them, and develop professional and technical solution concepts.
- You plan, conduct, and document tests for system adjustments, releases, and migrations.
- You participate in demanding projects and, depending on the need, take on professional sub-project responsibility or an advisory role.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or Business Administration; extensive SAP PSCD experience.
- Strong knowledge of SAP architecture and finance modules.
- Effective communication with various stakeholders., * You have a completed degree (FH/University) in computer science, business informatics, or business administration.
- You bring several years of experience in supporting or implementing SAP PSCD (Public Sector Collection and Disbursement).
- You have in-depth knowledge of the SAP architecture as well as related modules, especially SAP FI and ideally FI-CA or other finance-related components.
- You have experience in projects, particularly with system adjustments, releases, and migrations.
- You communicate clearly and convincingly with specialist departments, IT, and external partners and can convey complex content understandably.
- You work customer- and service-oriented and bring teamwork skills as well as enjoyment in interdisciplinary collaboration.
- You impress with very good German skills, good English skills are an advantage, as well as a confident, reliable, and committed manner.
