Choose the best place for your work - Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.

Even more flexibility? Mobile working from abroad is possible for up to 30 days a year under certain conditions and in selected countries.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

• You support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and HGB, as well as financial statements for internal purposes of the inhouse banks.
• You are responsible for recording closing entries in our SAP and internal ERP systems (finavigate®) and ensure proper accounting and valuation of individual balance sheet items, including derivatives.
• You clarify and resolve errors and reconciliation differences within the closing process.
• You perform various checks to ensure the completeness and accuracy of data.
• You handle applications used for reporting in the notes to the financial statements and for submissions to the German Federal Bank (Bundesbank).
• You actively contribute to projects and drive digitalization initiatives in the area of Inhouse Bank and Treasury Accounting.
• You support the preparation of financial reports, evaluations, and analyses for management and auditors.

• You hold a Master's degree (or equivalent, e.g., Diplom) in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting and Finance.
• Ideally, you have gained initial professional experience in accounting and financial statement preparation.
• We also welcome candidates with a Bachelor's degree or completed vocational training and further education (e.g., certified accountant or "Bilanzbuchhalter/in" and/or "International Accounting"), combined with additional relevant work experience.
• You have solid knowledge of accounting principles and expertise in both international (IFRS) and German GAAP (HGB).
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office. Experience with the Treasury system ITS by ION, finavigate®, and SAP (modules FI and CO) is a plus., * You have very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken, enabling you to operate confidently in an international environment.
• You demonstrate a precise working style and a keen eye for detail.
• With your passion, willingness to learn, analytical skills, result- and quality-orientation, IT affinity, as well as team spirit and customer focus, you contribute to the continuous development of Siemens Healthineers.
