Job description

Role: SAP Platform Architect Mandatory Experience (Must Have) BW Migration Track Record Proven hands-on experience leading at least one full BW on-prem to BW/4HANA migration, not just advisory, actual delivery on customer side. Experience with SAP's BW/4HANA migration tooling: Shell Conversion, Remote Conversion, or In-Place Migration and knows when to use which - not necessary hands on but understand well the concept. Worked directly with SAP or a certified SAP partner on BW migration programs. Understanding of RISE with SAP commercial and technical model, knows the difference between RISE, BTP, and managed cloud. Good understanding of BW/4HANA Cockpit and the Migration Workbench. Understanding of network topology, latency considerations, and data residency in cloud BW deployments. Technical BW/4HANA Depth Deep knowledge of BW/4HANA data modelling: aDSO, CompositeProvider, Open ODS Views and how they replace classic BW objects. Ability to assess which legacy objects (InfoCubes

Requirements

MultiProviders, DSOs) can be migrated vs need to be rebuilt. SAP HANA optimization knowledge such as partitioning, indexing, memory management in BW context. BEx vs SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) reporting transition. SAP Datasphere Knowledge (good to have but not mandatory) Solid understanding of SAP Datasphere architecture: Spaces, Data Flows, Transformation Flows, Business Builder. Knowledge of Data Products concept and how they enable data mesh patterns. Understanding of federation vs replication strategies in Datasphere. Familiarity with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) integration with Datasphere as the consumption layer. Experience defining data architecture standards: naming conventions, layering (acquisition, transformation, consumption), data ownership. Knowledge of data lineage, data cataloguing especially relevant as you move towards Datasphere's data product model. Experience managing SAP as a vendor, knows how to engage SAP support, SAP CoE, and escalation paths.
