Job description
Mission of the position Manage the acquisition of goods and services necessary for the operation and production of the business. This includes identifying suppliers, negotiating deadlines, ensuring product quality, managing inventories and optimizing costs. The main goal is to ensure that the company has the necessary resources at the right time and at a reasonable cost, thus contributing to the operational efficiency and effectiveness of the organization. Main tasks and direct related responsibilities * Track supplier delivery dates for components and products, considering manufacturing parts lead time to guarantee fulfilment of internal and / or external customers required dates. * Manage priorities and reschedule suppliers' delivery dates to match customer needs. Contact Suppliers giving/having feedback about open PO's. * Coordinate the activity of the position with the purchasing team and any other stakeholder that may be involved in the process. * Manage quality issues and modifications including to send PO's to suppliers. * Use the tools determined by the Company to take decisions to guarantee the continuity of the business. * Administrative task linked to the department activity (quotations, purchase requests, etc.) What You Need to Be Successful
Requirements
Do you have experience in SAP?, Mandatory: * Vocational training in Mechanics or Technical Engineering degree background. * 3-5 years of experience in similar role. * Strong focus on delivering results and negotiation skills. * Clear communication skills * English B2 * Proficient in MS Excel. * Knowledge of SAP (Warehouse, Purchasing, Planning, etc....). * Availability to travel worldwide when needed. Desired * High-energy and self-starter with highly developed problem-solving skills * Fluent in Italian or other European language * Work in technical office and extensive experience in purchasing department
