Job description
- Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL-based data solutions across large and enterprise-scale datasets
- Build and maintain robust data models and transformation logic, ensuring performance, accuracy, and maintainability
- Troubleshoot and optimize query performance using advanced SQL techniques (joins, CTEs, window functions, execution plan analysis)
- Develop and maintain transformation frameworks using dbt where applicable
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for automated build, test, and deployment
- Apply strong Git-based development practices (branching, code reviews, version control)
- Support data platform components including Snowflake where required, but not as the primary focus
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable and efficient data solutions
- Ensure solutions are production-ready, including monitoring, stability, and support handover
Requirements
Do you have experience in Test automation?, * Complex query writing and optimization
- Data modelling (dimensional, normalized/denormalized)
- Performance tuning on large datasets
Strong experience in data engineering and transformation design
Experience with dbt or similar transformation frameworks
Strong knowledge of Git workflows and version control practices
Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines / CI-CD automation
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Ability to work across full lifecycle (development to production support)
Nice to have:
- Exposure to Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms (nice-to-have, not primary requirement)
- Understanding of cloud-based data architectures
- Familiarity with test automation and data validation approaches, sql server,database triggers,disaster recovery,sql server profiler
