Job description
This role has been designed as 'Hybrid' with an expectation that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office., This role is as a HPC Technical Consultant, providing end to end delivery of new customer solutions across the EMEA region either remotely or on the customer site location.
In a typical day as HPC Technical Consultant you will:

Apply your technical background and knowledge of industry trends to deliver end to end HPC services, including both hardware and software, for massively parallel (MPP) super- computer systems, clusters and storage systems.

Support the pre-sales team in scoping & sizing the HPC services

Plan and deploy HPC HW & SW solutions through to customer acceptance

Analyze, qualify, troubleshoot, resolve whenever possible the incidents with the right level of autonomy & expertise

Collaborate with team members, other internal organizations, customers, and third parties (e.g. DDN, Red Hat, Altair, Nvidia…)

Manage the customer relationship, including verbal & written communication

Be available to travel, to customers sites across EMEA.

Academic degree in a technical field of studies

Analytical mindset, able to understand all architectural dependencies of technologies in the customers IT environment In-depth knowledge of: oLinux/Unix operating systems o(HPC) file systems oWorkload managers (preferably SLURM and/ or PBS-pro) oCluster management systems oNetworking and security oServer components including motherboards, memory and storage, network switches oKnowledge of programming and scripting (e.g. Perl, Python, C++, etc.) Ideally, an understanding of
