Job description

We're looking for a Product Design Lead who can see opportunity in everything-from large-scale transformation programmes to quick-win improvements that deliver immediate value. In this role, you'll help shape the long-term vision and strategy for design, working on global tools and services used by hundreds of thousands of colleagues every day. You'll balance strategic thinking with a hands-on approach, bringing a passion for craft and a clear vision for the future of user experience. Working closely with Product, Data Science, and Engineering, you'll create innovative, user-centred solutions while mentoring and inspiring a talented design team. Insights and data will underpin your decisions, ensuring every experience is grounded in real user needs, * Leading UX research and design squads, coaching both senior and junior designers

  • Owning and delivering end-to-end UX design processes across key initiatives
  • Driving user-centred design, simplifying complex problems into intuitive solutions
  • Conducting qualitative and quantitative user research to inform design decisions
  • Facilitating workshops, stakeholder sessions, and ideation activities
  • Designing prototypes, storyboards, and UI solutions that enhance user experience
  • Applying systems thinking and service design beyond just UI improvements
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless customer journeys
  • Presenting design concepts clearly to stakeholders and leadership teams
  • Contributing to and evolving design systems and multi-platform experiences

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience leading high-performing, multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong expertise in UX research, end-to-end design, prototyping, and testing
  • Experience with service design and systems thinking approaches
  • Ability to use data (qualitative and quantitative) to inform and measure design
  • Strong understanding of user behaviour, psychology, and customer needs
  • Proven collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Design stakeholders
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle (advantageous)
  • Proficiency with tools such as Figma, Sketch, Miro, Adobe Creative Suite
  • A strong UX portfolio showcasing impactful, research-driven work
