Job description
- Act as the first point of contact for the Head of Knowledge Transfer and wider KTP team.
- Manage client engagement through SharePoint, CRM and Outlook.
- Facilitate development of prospects, setting up meetings and progressing enquiries.
- Co-ordinating logistics for events, training sessions and client meeting.
- Attend KTP LMC meetings to deliver and oversee minute-taking (recording actions), providing concise accurate data (minutes) that are accurate and delivered to deadline.
- Update, draft, compile all KTP related paperwork, ensuring due diligence and protocol is followed as per IUK guidance and compliance.
- Understanding of GDPR and confidentiality requirements - handling sensitive commercial data.
- Disseminate project performance to a wide KTP data to senior stakeholders Internal (Schools/Dept) external (SME CEOs, IUK funding body, other).
Requirements
Do you have experience in Word processing?, * Experience of managing diaries.
- Track record of professional business administrative duties in an externally facing client centric environment.
- Experience of attending meetings for formal minute taking / administrative procedures.
- Knowledge of computer packages such as word processing, spreadsheets and databases.
- Ability to build confidence, credibility and rapport with colleagues, partners, and external customers / clients.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate professionally and effectively across stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Please note that you must be able to attend meetings at various sites; transport will be provided.
Desirable Requirements
- Knowledge of KTP fundamentals (programme, processes).

The appointed candidate will normally be employed through our subsidiary company, BCU Support Services Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Birmingham City University. Appointees with prior LGPS membership who wish to re-enter the scheme may do so and will be employed directly by the University.
