Senior software engineer

We are looking for a Senior Full-stack Software Engineer who is excited to dive into engineering at Galileo and help us build credit and loan systems at scale. On our team, you will be in the middle of it all - implementing new functionality, squashing bugs, testing and deploying, monitoring and supporting mission-critical systems, and continually growing as an engineer. What You'll Do

• Own and drive system design and architecture decisions
• Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of AI solutions
• Write, test, and deploy efficient, scalable code to a production environment that impacts millions of users.
• Generate ideas for process improvement, initiatives, and new technologies.
• Collaborate with product and design on new initiatives and features

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience with Python and Javascript (React and Node).
• Experience in AI/ML-focused roles is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with Continuous Delivery principles and techniques, including unit testing and build & deploy pipelines.
• Demonstrated expertise with data store and cloud technologies, ideally within a microservice architecture (AWS, Azure, MongoDB)
• Good level of English (Mandatory)
• Experience in the banking or fintech industry is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills and good communication skills.
