Network Engineer

You will play a crucial role in these work areas:

• Analyzes customer requirements and provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate complexity
• Performs maintenance and upgrade of networks including load balancers, routers, switches, firewalls, and networks
• Maintains network integrity and connectivity while ensuring compliance with policies and maintains system backup and recovery capability
• Coordinates hardware and software acquisition
• Creates plans and configures systems for data communication networks
• Supports the design and build of hardware and software components for computer or telecommunications networks
• Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned
• Create and maintain documentation of networking processes

Cisco Technologies, Networking, Networks, 2 + years of related experience, Bring your engineering expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Network Engineer must have:

Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science

Experience: 2+ years of related experience, * Experience with network and firewall solutions, including Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Fortinet, F5, and/or Palo Alto

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
