Job description
Lead platform operations and administration for enterprise Azure data platforms Manage platform stability, security, governance, and compliance across Azure environments Administer Azure Data bricks workspaces, cluster policies, ADF, ADLS Gen2, RBAC, Entra ID, and Key Vault integrations Monitor platform health using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Splunk, and operational monitoring tools Support CI/CD, release governance, change management, and platform automation using Azure DevOps Implement Databricks cost optimization strategies including cluster right-sizing, autoscaling, auto-termination, and instance pools Configure and manage HVR Hub, Fivetran connectors, and enterprise data integration services Collaborate with DataOps, FinOps, Infrastructure, and Security teams to improve operational efficiency and platform reliability
Requirements
We are seeking an experienced Azure Databricks Platform Administrator with strong expertise in Azure cloud administration, platform operations, and enterprise data platform support.
Must Have Skills: Azure Databricks Administration Azure Cloud Platform Administration SQL
Experience Required: 10+ years of experience in data platform or cloud administration Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data bricks, Strong expertise in Azure Data bricks administration and Azure cloud services Hands-on experience with ADLS Gen2, Azure Networking, Azure Monitor, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and SQL Experience with RBAC, governance, observability, monitoring, and platform security Strong troubleshooting, automation, and production support experience in enterprise environments Preferred Skills: Experience with Splunk, Tidal, Azure DevOps, HVR, and Fivetran Knowledge of FinOps, policy-as-code, and enterprise platform governance
