Job description
CGI is seeking a DevSecOps/Cloud System Engineer that can innovate with a variety of tools in an AWS cloud environment. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in DevOps, CI/CD, installing and supporting applications and tools within the SDLC lifecycle, and is able to thoroughly troubleshoot issues.
The DevSecOps/Cloud System Engineer is responsible for setting up and maintaining infrastructure or specific Information System (IS) elements. System engineering responsibilities include installing, configuring, and updating instances, resources, and software packages; establishing and managing user accounts and development desktop instances; overseeing or conducting backup and recovery from recorded snapshots, and reconstitution activities; implementing controls; and adhering to and enforcing organizational security and privacy policies and procedures as dictated by the A&A team. The Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining automation scripts and CI/CD pipeline activities.
This position is located in our Arlington, VA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.
Requirements
Experience with architectural design, systems design, and developing unique and elegant solutions to pressing challenges
. 5+ years' experience in a DevOps role
. Experience with AWS and cloud architecture
. Experience with the full Atlassian or GIT suite of tools (JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket, etc.)
. Demonstrated experience and innovation with DevOps automation in a cloud environment
. Active TS/SCI CI clearance required

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $89,600.00 - $218,200.00.
