Manager Application Development

Kforce has a client in San Antonio, TX that is seeking a Manager - Application Development. Summary: In this role, the Manager will be overseeing and coordinating the performance of developers and analysts, maintaining effective relationships with colleagues, and performing additional duties as assigned or outlined in performance evaluations. The role also involves providing technical expertise, project management, and guidance for the implementation and operation of application systems used across financial, clinical, business, and administrative domains. Responsibilities include organizing and scheduling major and complex system tasks, including programming, ensuring timely and efficient completion in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Processing, Mathematics, Business, or a related field
• Relevant work experience may substitute for some educational requirements
• 8+ years of experience in programming and system analysis
• Proficiency in at least one programming language and data management methodology on one or more computer platforms
• Language and platform requirements may vary based on current needs
• Working knowledge of the following technologies is required: SQL, .NET, VB, C#

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
