Job description
We are seeking an experienced Systems Architect to support advanced space and defense programs within a high-security environment. This role is responsible for architecting and developing data processing and analysis tools that support RF payload systems across mission-critical programs. The ideal candidate has strong experience in software development, data processing, and system architecture, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment supporting national security initiatives., * Architect and develop payload data processing and analysis tool suites
- Lead software design, development, and automated testing efforts
- Collaborate with engineers and subject matter experts to define data processing and visualization needs
- Develop and execute plans to deliver software solutions aligned with program requirements
- Partner with internal customers to ensure successful delivery of payload products and milestones
- Support RF payload analysis efforts within the Global Security portfolio
- Solve complex technical challenges supporting mission-critical defense systems
- Contribute to the development of capabilities supporting space vehicles, missile defense, and advanced programs
Requirements
- Active Top Secret security clearance required prior to start
- Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Experience with Python programming
- Experience developing software in Linux environments
- Experience using NumPy for data processing and linear algebra
Additional Qualifications
- Experience with Python data visualization tools (Bokeh or similar)
- Experience managing large-scale Python codebases
- Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and code quality metrics
- Experience with distributed computing frameworks (Dask or similar)
- Knowledge of digital signal processing, linear algebra, or optimal estimation
- Experience with machine learning or neural networks for data analysis
- Experience leading small technical teams across development lifecycles
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills
- Experience working with streaming or packetized data systems
- Ability to collaborate across cross-functional engineering teams
