Data Analyst

• Perform exploratory data analysis using statistical techniques to identify significant trends, patterns, correlations, and anomalies.
• Independently identify solutions for assigned business problems, and routinely collaborate with Enterprise/Application architects, Database Architects, Data Scientists, and mission stakeholders.
• Extract, clean, and transform data associated within an identified problem space to help build predictive models as well as develop appropriate supporting documentation.
• Leverage knowledge of a variety of statistical and machine learning techniques learned within school
• Execute projects including those intended to identify patterns and/or anomalies
• Research information as necessary
• Brief project management, technical design, and outcomes to both technical and non-technical audiences including senior stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle through written as well as virtual reporting.

• Currently pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Physical Science Engineering or a related field
• HS and 0-6 years or AS and 0-4 years or BS and 0-2 years
• Coursework related and/or prior internship related to data science/analytics
• Working knowledge of statistical modeling
• Knowledge of Python, R, Scala, or JavaScript
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, * A passion for low-level / embedded data/science analytics
• Working knowledge or cloud computing/cloud storage
• Working knowledge of SQL
• Prior NTC experience, preferably with proficiency in operational data analysis.

Clearance Requirements:

• Must be a U.S Citizenship with the ability to obtain DHS CBP Suitability prior to starting this position.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time.
• Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel.
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer.
