Job description

We're looking for someone to join our IT team who can help take ownership of day?to?day support while also getting exposure to the systems and infrastructure side of things.

What you'll actually be doing

You'll be the first stop for a lot of support requests - from password resets and access issues to workstation and application problems. At the same time, you'll get pulled into broader work like onboarding users, keeping systems up to date, and helping maintain the environment behind the scenes.

There's also some exposure to infrastructure work. Things like backup systems, virtualization, security tools - you won't be leading those day one, but you'll be involved and learning quickly.

On any given day, you might be:

  • Working through support tickets and escalations
  • Troubleshooting user issues across systems and devices
  • Managing accounts and access in Active Directory and Microsoft 365
  • Keeping an eye on alerts, backups, and system health
  • Supporting updates, patching, and general maintenance
  • Helping document how things are set up and how issues get resolved

Requirements

We're not looking for a total beginner. Ideally, you've spent 2-4 years in a corporate IT support role and know how to handle yourself in a professional environment.

You should be comfortable figuring things out, communicating clearly with users, and juggling multiple things without getting overwhelmed.

Technically, it helps if you've worked with:

  • Windows environments (desktop and server)
  • Active Directory / Microsoft 365
  • Basic networking concepts like DNS and DHCP

Beyond that, attitude matters a lot. The people who do well here are the ones who are curious, take ownership, and actually want to get better at what they do.

A few things that would help

  • Exposure to VMware, Veeam, or similar tools
  • Any experience with networking hardware (Meraki, etc.)
  • Basic scripting or automation (even if just starting out)
