Job description

Our client is seeking a seasoned Systems Engineer III to join their R&D team in Bellevue, WA. In this role, you will drive the development, integration, and validation of complex, end-to-end medical systems involving wearable sensor devices, mobile applications, cloud architectures, and data pipelines. Focused on Ambulatory Cardiac Monitoring, you will ensure system reliability, safety, and regulatory compliance from data collection to cloud storage., * Evaluate system integration points and lead cross-functional integration testing between wearables, mobile apps, software algorithms, and cloud user portals.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive system validation plans, test protocols, and design verification reports across the entire connected ecosystem.
  • Create comprehensive system models, risk analyses, and hazard mitigation strategies.
  • Partner with development engineers to analyze data integrity, reliability, and security across the end-to-end data pipeline.
  • Serve as the engineering subject matter expert on systems engineering regulations and product lifecycle best practices.

Requirements

Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Systems Engineering.

  • 5 to 8+ years of experience in systems engineering, with a significant focus on connected medical devices or complex hardware/software ecosystems.
  • Proven expertise in systems modeling, requirements management, risk analysis, verification, and validation.
  • Experience with automation and programming/scripting languages (such as Python or RESTful APIs).
  • Strong debugging skills with the ability to trace and isolate issues spanning both hardware and software.
  • Intermediate knowledge of electro-mechanical hardware qualification and statistics.
  • Preferred Pluses: Familiarity with Azure DevOps (ADO), CI/CD pipelines, CAD, or formal requirement management tools., * Do you have at least 5 years of professional systems engineering experience working on complex, end-to-end systems?, * Bachelor's (Required)
