Job description
The Data Analyst is responsible for data management, business intelligence management, and the reporting process improvement. This position will be compiling, tracking, and analyzing operational data to improve decision-making, accountability, and performance. This role will focus on reporting data and evaluating, developing, and implementing impactful reporting process solutions. This position will be located in office., * Analyze data using standard statistical tools, methods, and techniques.
- Consult with leadership to identify data analytics needs.
- Identify and interpret data patterns and trends and assess data quality.
- Assist with the implementation of databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
- Prepare technical reports to present and interpret data, identify alternatives, and make and justify recommendations on data revisions.
- Compile, maintain, and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports and KPIs.
- Track delivery and trip performance metrics, including productivity, completion trends, exceptions, delays, cancellations, and other operational indicators identified by leadership.
- Build, update, and maintain spreadsheets, logs, trackers, dashboards, and other tools used to monitor operational performance.
- Review operational data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency; identify gaps, trends, and quality-control issues affecting reporting and execution.
- Draft and maintain documents used for operational tracking, reporting, audits, handoffs, and process management.
- Assist with special projects involving trip tracking, reporting cleanup, historical record review, or audit support.
- Coordinate with the Optimization team to understand routing-related metrics, reporting impacts, and operational implications.
- Assist with creation and maintenance of job aids, process documents, reference materials, and reporting instructions related to assigned responsibilities.
- Communicate findings, trends, concerns, and recommendations clearly to leadership and other stakeholders.
- Other duties as assigned by leadership.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Technical report writing?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in business, operations, analytics, information systems, mathematics, or a related field; or commensurate experience.
- 5+ years of experience in a Data and Analytics role.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, filtering, sorting, pivot tables, and data organization.
- Strong analytical ability, with experience organizing data into useful reports, trackers, or decision-support materials.
- Ability to identify trends, discrepancies, and process failures within operational data.
- Strong written communication skills, including the ability to draft clear reports, tracking documents, procedures, and summaries.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and recurring deliverables.
- Ability to work independently, take direction, and adapt to shifting business priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across departments without direct authority.
