Job description
The Test Solutions team develops and supports test capabilities throughout the engineering lifecycle for Missile Defense products. This includes defining test requirements, designing and integrating advanced test systems for labs, field environments, and production. The goal is to deliver robust, affordable, and reliable test solutions that enable successful development, verification, and sustainment of weapon system products.
The Test Systems Engineer works across engineering disciplines to define and document test environment capabilities. This role requires strong systems thinking, knowledge of developmental and production test processes, and an understanding of hardware testing from component to full system integration. Responsibilities include identifying technology risks, supporting factory transitions, and contributing to hardware verification and validation using proven test methods.

Key Deliverables
- Coordinate with the Program Manager/IPTL and report team status metrics
- Lead engineering team activities and oversee technical decision-making
- Review and approve system changes through CCBs and participate in FRBs as required
- Support system integration, deployment, and troubleshooting efforts
Requirements
- Active Secret Clearance (can start with interim Secret)
- Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) required
- Minimum of two (2) years' prior relevant experience
- Experience with Test Systems Engineering or equivalent engineering for hardware and test software development, integration, verification, validation, and maintenance in production, manufacturing, or product qualification environments
- Experience with design, development, and/or integration of test equipment - Strong organizational, coordination, communication, and teamwork skills
- Experience with both Windows and Linux operating systems
- Knowledge of test equipment, rack and cable assembly, and common electronic measurement tools
- Ability to troubleshoot systems using instruments such as oscilloscopes, analyzers, and data acquisition tools
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and working within Agile processes, including EVMS and gate reviews
