Requirements
DevOps GitOps Terraform Visionary Leadership Mentorship Innovation Kubernetes Scalability Reliability GitLab CI/CD Microsoft Azure Safety Assurance Containerization Docker (Software), * 6+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering.
- Proficiency in AWS, with experience in Azure or GCP as a plus.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes, preferably EKS.
- Experience with Helm and Kubernetes autoscaling.
- Proficiency in Docker and containerization, including image creation and lifecycle management.
- Experience with container registries, such as Amazon ECR.
- Experience implementing GitOps with tools like FluxCD.
- Proficiency in GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
- Knowledge of AWS account management, IAM, and cloud security.
- Understanding of cloud and hybrid networking fundamentals.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Python and infrastructure automation tools like Terraform and Ansible.
- Familiarity with lab equipment and VPNs.
Work Environment
100% Remote. The position is set in a fast-paced startup environment with high expectations and minimal ramp-up time. The role involves 80% hands-on work focusing on AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD, and 20% leadership responsibilities, including mentoring a DevOps Engineer III. The team is small and collaborative, consisting of approximately 8 members, including DevOps, software engineering, and QA professionals.

The pay range for this position is $69.00 - $79.00/hr.
