Job description
A large financial services client is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a high-performing team building a new U.S. consumer credit card platform for a top global financial services client. This initiative includes standing up a modern card origination ecosystem and integrating with TSYS, third-party payment partners, and FICO for real-time credit decisioning.
The platform will enable end-to-end card lifecycle capabilities-online application, decisioning, issuance, servicing, fraud management, and downstream operations-supported by secure, real-time APIs and event-driven integrations.
This role will own full-stack development across the platform, including building APIs from scratch, developing webhook integrations, and supporting processor stand-up and connectivity (TSYS). The engineer will contribute across card origination, decisioning workflows, servicing, statements, fraud, and data/analytics pipelines.
Requirements
Strong credit card / payments domain experience (issuer side preferred)
Hands-on experience with TSYS or similar card processors
Expertise in .NET Core, Azure, REST APIs, and event-driven integrations
Experience building APIs/webhooks from scratch and integrating external partners
Kubernetes, CI/CD, and end-to-end automation experience
Ability to partner across business, product, and technical teams
This is a highly hands-on role focused on solution design, development, and delivery. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, strong domain knowledge, and the ability to lead complex, cross-functional builds in a real-time payments environment., * 10+ years of full stack software engineering experience
- Strong consumer credit card (issuer-side) experience across full lifecycle (origination, decisioning, authorization, servicing, fraud)
- Proven experience building and supporting real-time payment/transaction systems
- Hands-on experience with TSYS or similar card processors (FIS/First Data), including integrations and processor connectivity
- Deep expertise in .NET Core, Azure, and API-first development (REST APIs, webhooks, real-time integrations)
- Experience with event-driven architecture (Kafka or similar), Kubernetes, and CI/CD in high-availability financial systems
