Principal Security Solutions Architect, AWS Financial Services

• Help overcome barriers to AWS adoption in Financial Services accounts by identifying and tackling major security, risk, and compliance questions from stakeholders within financial institutions.
• Participate in architecture discussions to work through risk, security, and compliance concerns.
• Work with customer stakeholders to identify controls, and educate auditors and examiners by helping them understand how to assess third-party supplier arrangements and conduct audits when AWS is in scope.
• Build and maintain executive-level relationships with CIO/CISO/CRO and policy approvers and owners.
• Develop high-quality technical content, such as white papers and reference architectures, that can be used by customers to assist them in deploying secure and compliant cloud-based solutions.
• Assess security and controls knowledge across AWS sales and solutions architecture teams and develop plans to address gaps.

• 10+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent.
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences and at C-level, including training, workshops, publications.
• Experience developing technology security solutions and evangelizing end-to-end technology security roadmaps that guide secure IT transformations toward cloud computing.
• Proven experience communicating security concepts to executive audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of distributed systems design and implementation or equivalent.
• Knowledge of large-scale automation and workflow management or equivalent.
• Presentation and whiteboarding skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with internal and external executives, IT management, and developers.
• Experience architecting, migrating, transforming or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud.
• Experience with threat modeling, secure coding, identity management and authentication, software development, cryptography, system administration and network security.
• Experience in application security architecture, security code reviews, security testing, incident response, or security infrastructure.

Location: USA, NY, New York

Annual salary range: 201,000.00 - 272,000.00 USD.
