Job description

The Department of Water Resources (DWR) is recruiting for a talented, enthusiastic, and motivated System Administrator to join its Digital Services and Solutions Office. The individual joins one of the most talented and progressive IT shops in CA state government. The System Administrator will provide support for the Department's digital solutions platform systems.

Requirements

In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:

  • Experience with or knowledge of Software as a Service (SaaS) and Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) products such as ServiceNow, Docusign, SharePoint, Sitecore, and WordPress.
  • Experience with or knowledge of programming, scripting, workflows, IT security.
  • Excellent in writing, troubleshooting, and research skills.
  • Creative thinker who applies strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills to solving complex problems.
  • Ability to manage competing workloads and deliver projects on time.
