This highly impactful role as a Senior Security Engineer-Artificial Intelligence & Infrastructure will serve as a vital member of our security team, responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of security systems and controls that safeguard the organization's digital assets. This Senior Security Engineer-Artificial Intelligence & Infrastructure requires 5+ years of cybersecurity engineering experience, combining hands-on knowledge of infrastructure security services along with offensive (red team) and defensive (blue team) security operations.

You will secure Azure Foundry Agent Service deployments, implement identity governance through Entra Agent ID, protect Microsoft Fabric integrations, and help develop autonomous security capabilities using agent swarms. Working alongside our existing security engineers and other IT personnel, you will address identified security findings through strategic design and hands-on implementation. This is an opportunity to work with cutting-edge AI security technologies and shape the future of autonomous security operations in a collaborative, innovation-focused environment., * Design and implement security controls for Azure AI Foundry Agent Service deployments, including multi-agent workflows, hosted agents, and prompt agents.

  • Secure Model Catalogs with proper access controls, versioning, and deployment policies to prevent unauthorized model usage.

  • Configure comprehensive observability and monitoring for AI agents using end-to-end tracing, metrics collection, and Application Insights integration.

  • Implement security guardrails for agent tools and services (web search, file access, memory, code interpreter, MCP servers) using least privilege principles.

  • Manage control plane security through Microsoft Entra Agent ID, enforcing RBAC, content filtering, and access policies for agent identities.

  • Support Red Teaming & Responsible AI evaluation processes to identify agent vulnerabilities and agentic risks.

  • Implement security architecture for Microsoft Fabric workloads, controlling how AI agents access unified data platforms.

  • Configure and manage Microsoft Entra (Azure AD) for enterprise identity and access management across cloud and hybrid environments.

  • Deploy Entra Agent ID for AI agent authentication, lifecycle management, and conditional access enforcement.

  • Establish RBAC and identity governance ensuring AI agents operate within defined privileges and comply with corporate security policies.

  • Collaborate with data and identity teams to maintain secure integration points between Foundry agents and Fabric data services.

  • Design and enforce security policies for API endpoints, including authentication, authorization, rate limiting, and threat protection.

  • Utilize Azure API Management or equivalent tools to manage and monitor API traffic, enforce governance, and ensure secure integration with internal and external services.

  • Conduct red team (offensive) activities: penetration testing of Azure infrastructure, AI agent attack simulations (prompt injection, tool misuse), and validation of security guardrails.

  • Execute blue team (defensive) operations: threat detection configuration, security monitoring of agent behaviors, alert triage, and incident response playbook refinement.

  • Develop autonomous security agent capabilities that perform continuous security testing, configuration scanning, and automated threat response.

  • Design and test agent swarms that can identify vulnerabilities, simulate attack scenarios, and recommend remediation actions.

  • Collaborate with security engineering peers to create feedback loops where red team findings directly inform enhanced blue team monitoring.

  • Partner with existing security engineers and other IT personnel to investigate and respond to security incidents involving cloud infrastructure or AI systems.

  • Conduct root-cause analysis when AI agents perform unintended actions or security controls fail; adjust configurations accordingly.

  • Automate routine security responses where feasible (resource isolation, credential rotation, alert escalation).

  • Document security configurations, incident findings, and remediation procedures.

  • Contribute to security standards, best practices, and internal knowledge bases for AI agent security.

CORE COMPETENCIES FOR SUCCESS IN ALL ROLES: instills trust, communicates effectively, action-oriented, ensures accountability, and drives results.
