Job description

Seeking a hands-on Help Desk / Infrastructure Support Technician to support internal users, engineering teams, and mission-critical infrastructure environments. This role supports a fast-paced organization focused on enterprise server platforms, OEM hardware solutions, engineering labs, and data center technologies. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, supporting highly technical teams, and working in an infrastructure-heavy environment where responsiveness and problem solving are critical. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, conference room systems, and internal applications
  • Troubleshoot Windows 10/11 environments along with basic Linux issues across engineering and operations teams
  • Support Microsoft 365 including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and collaboration tools
  • Manage Active Directory user accounts, password resets, permissions, and access requests
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity, VPN, wireless, DNS, DHCP, and remote access issues
  • Configure, image, deploy, and track end-user hardware and peripherals
  • Assist with asset management, hardware lifecycle support, and inventory tracking
  • Support engineering labs and infrastructure environments tied to enterprise server hardware and OEM platforms
  • Coordinate with infrastructure, server, and engineering teams on escalated technical issues
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ticket updates within the help desk system
  • Assist with rack-and-stack activities, hardware swaps, diagnostics, and basic data center support as needed

Candidates who enjoy hands-on troubleshooting and working around infrastructure and server technologies will be highly successful in this environment. Requirements

  • 2-5 years of Help Desk, Desktop Support, or Infrastructure Support experience

  • Strong Windows desktop troubleshooting experience

  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Active Directory environments

  • Experience using ticketing systems and remote support tools

  • Strong customer service and communication skills

  • Ability to troubleshoot both hardware and software issues independently

  • Ability to work onsite in Plano, TX Preferred / Optional Experience

  • Basic networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and wireless troubleshooting

  • Basic Linux administration or troubleshooting experience

  • Experience supporting engineering, manufacturing, OEM, or data center environments

  • Exposure to enterprise server hardware or infrastructure operations

  • Experience with imaging tools, hardware diagnostics, and asset management systems

  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or related certifications preferred
