Job description

Our client seeks a Senior Full Stack Engineer to help modernize cloud-native platforms supporting customers.

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer for our client, apply if you'd like to join a small, fast-growing technology team within the financial services / insurance space. This team operates with a true startup mindset while being backed by a large, stable enterprise.

The tech stack centers on Java, Angular, NodeJS, and AWS, with a focus on scalable microservices and high-quality delivery.

This is a hands-on engineering role with a strong emphasis on modern UI development , building cloud-native applications that support high-impact, customer-facing platforms. While the work is heavily front-end focused, this role requires engineers who understand and can work across the full stack, including backend services and cloud integrations.

You'll collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and business partners to design, build, and deliver scalable solutions that support multiple business verticalsto deliver prioritized features while promoting engineering excellence., * Design and build modern, responsive user interfaces using Angular and/or React

  • Contribute to full SDLC activities including design, development, testing, and deployment
  • Develop and integrate with backend services using Java and Node.js
  • Build and consume RESTful APIs (GraphQL experience is a plus)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver prioritized features
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with a focus on quality and performance
  • Participate in troubleshooting and resolving production issues
  • Promote engineering best practices and contribute to a culture of technical excellence, * Senior-level, hands-on coding role (not an oversight-only position)
  • Frontend-heavy work while retaining full-stack ownership

Requirements

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance., * 5-10 years of hands-on software development experience

  • Strong UI/front-end development experience with Angular and/or React
  • Working knowledge of Java , Node.js , and service-based architectures
  • Experience building and integrating REST-based services
  • Exposure to microservices or micro-frontend architectures
  • Experience with AWS and cloud-native application development, including services such as:
  • ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, SQS/SNS, VPC, Load Balancing
  • Familiarity with Docker and containerized deployments
  • Experience with unit and integration testing
  • Knowledge of static code analysis tools (e.g., Sonar or similar)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
