Job description
- Leads content modeling and page type architecture within the enterprise CMS by establishing component hierarchy, template definitions, field naming standards, and governance documentation to support UHealth, Academy, Athletics, and Development content teams.
- Owns the IA migration workstream by overseeing legacy content inventory, URL mapping, redirect strategy, and phased migration sequencing.
- Conducts IA research through card sorting, tree testing, first-click testing, and navigation usability studies in partnership with user experience (UX) and research teams.
- Governs URL structures, metadata schemas, and internal linking patterns and enforces standards across all content management system users and brands.
- Partners with search engine optimization (SEO) and answer engine optimization (AEO) teams to ensure information architecture decisions support search visibility, structured data implementation, and artificial intelligence answer engine indexing.
- Maintains governance artifacts, including naming conventions, decision logs, sitemaps, redirect logs, and wireframe-level navigation models.
- Manages IA specialists and contractors by assigning work, reviewing deliverables, and ensuring delivery quality aligned with migration-critical timelines.
- Establishes and continuously assesses the effectiveness of the internal controls within the unit and compliance with University policies and procedures. Ensures employees are trained on controls within the function and on University policy and procedures.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field required
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience required
- Operational Management: Optimizes day-to-day operations and processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Organizational Development: Ability to implement strategies to improve organizational effectiveness, engagement, and manage change.
- Financial Oversight: Knowledge of financial operations and management.
- Team Leadership: Ability to create and maintain a cohesive and productive team environment, build positive working relationships and work collaboratively with others.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using office software, technology, and relevant computer applications.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey ideas clearly and persuasively.
