Job description
- Accountable for delivery of program software products within cost and schedule
- Responsible for coordination with program management, suppliers, and other Boeing teams
- Provide technical guidance to team members
- Perform all managerial HR functions
- Perform Cost Account Manager duties for the team's control accounts
- Successful candidate will need to lead effectively through the SAFe paradigm
- Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
Requirements
- This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
- Bachelor's Degree
- Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership"
- 5 or more years of experience with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), * Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- Experience in aircraft, avionics, flight controls, and/or other electronics
- Experience in object-oriented software development
- Experience in the following: Ada, C/C++, Python, GIT, JIRA, GitLab, and DOORS
- Experience in Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques

Summary pay range for Manager Level K: $160,650 - $217,350
