job summary: Join our dynamic Information Technology team to help architect, implement, and optimize next-generation network infrastructure. In this role, you will act as a subject matter expert across a diverse range of networking technologies and platforms, supporting key enterprise initiatives in a fast-paced global business environment. You will be at the forefront of driving operational excellence and modern network automation deployment.

responsibilities: DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and implement advanced network solutions for complex routing/switching environments using Arista, Cisco, and MIST platforms where network is deployed with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize enterprise-grade routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and switching technologies to ensure resilient and efficient network performance.
  • Architect and manage wireless infrastructure with a focus on MIST-based solutions, ensuring high availability, performance, and seamless user experience.
  • Develop and maintain automation workflows using Ansible, Terraform, and other tools, leveraging APIs to enhance network scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align network strategies with business goals, and create/maintain comprehensive documentation for network designs, configurations, and SOPs.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation to provide after-hours support, assess emerging technologies, and travel up to 30% domestically as required for critical projects.

qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.

Minimum of 8 years of IT experience operating as a Senior Network Engineer within an enterprise environment.

Advanced proficiency with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), enterprise switching, and Arista platforms (including CloudVision).

Proven experience writing network automation workflows and leveraging infrastructure automation tools (Ansible, Python, APIs).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Active industry certifications such as CCNP, Arista ACE L5, or equivalent qualifications.

Hands-on experience with MIST wireless design, deployment, and performance optimization.

Prior experience in Cloud or Hybrid Cloud networking architectures (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Background working within Manufacturing or Operational Technology (OT) industrial environments.
