Job description

  • Responsible for the design, implementation and optimization of enterprise databases across hybrid on-premises and Azure cloud environments.
  • Oversee database administration, performance tuning, high availability, disaster recovery and integration with Microsoft 365 services.
  • Set technical direction, ensure security and compliance standards are met, and guide cloud migrations using Azure SQL, managed instances, and related services.
  • Drive automation initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and provide Tier-3 escalation support for complex database issues.
  • Acting as both a technical expert and team leader ensures scalable, secure, and reliable data platforms that support enterprise applications and business intelligence.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
  • Minimum 8-10 years in an IT related field.
  • Active IAT Level II certification or equivalent.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Major in Information Technology.
  • Certifications: Oracle OCP, Microsoft SQL Expert.
