Job description
We are seeking a Second Shift MAPS Finance Risk Analyst to join our dynamic team supporting Markets lines of business. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in front office trading support, incident and change management, and risk platform reliability and a proven ability to operate in a high-pressure trading environment while coordinating restoration and stability efforts. Responsibilities:
- Serve as first point of contact for business requests and reported impact for FICC Risk.
- Monitor and alert on critical trading system environments during second shift operations.
- Lead and execute release implementation and perform post-release testing.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with business stakeholders, application development, and infrastructure teams.
- Troubleshoot complex systems issues and coordinate high-impact incident restoration.
- Proactively identify and remediate problem hotspots to improve stability.
- Develop tools and drive efficiency and stability improvements across environments.
- Facilitate daily technical change meetings and manage global resources through the change process.
- Produce reports and analyses using Tableau and Microsoft Office.
- Adhere to written procedures and policies for change, incident, problem, and release management.
Requirements

Proficiency with operating systems: Solaris, Linux, and Windows.

Scripting skills in Unix Shell, Perl, and Python.

SQL at an intermediate level, including multi-table joins and grouping.

Experience with grid computing and batch management.

Understanding of infrastructure disciplines such as network, server, storage, and messaging.

Hands-on experience with incident, problem, and release management processes and tools, including ITRS Enterprise monitoring.

Experience supporting traders in a front office environment with clear communication and leadership.

Ability to operate on second shift in a high-pressure trading setting with strict adherence to procedures. Preferred Skills:

Report development using Tableau and advanced Microsoft Office features.

Well-rounded understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and change governance.
