Job description

We are looking for a motivated Technical Support Specialist to join a fast-growing IT and Cybersecurity company supporting a wide variety of business environments. This role is ideal for someone with MSP/helpdesk experience who enjoys solving technical problems, supporting infrastructure environments, and working with networking and security technologies., * Troubleshoot and resolve complex IT support issues.

  • Serve as an escalation point for advanced technical problems.
  • Support networking, firewall, wireless, VPN, and infrastructure environments.
  • Configure and troubleshoot Cisco Meraki environments.
  • Support Palo Alto firewalls, GlobalProtect VPN, and Panorama.
  • Monitor network activity and proactively identify issues.
  • Create and document support tickets and technical resolutions.
  • Develop internal knowledge base documentation.
  • Assist with after-hours on-call support rotation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and clients to resolve technical issues.
  • Mentor junior technicians and assist with knowledge sharing.

Requirements

Do you have experience in VPN management?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, We are also open to highly trainable junior candidates or recent graduates with strong work ethic, technical aptitude, and a desire to grow into advanced support and cybersecurity responsibilities., * Experience working in an MSP, helpdesk, or IT support environment preferred.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with:
  • Cisco Meraki
  • Palo Alto Networks
  • TCP/IP
  • VLANs
  • VPNs
  • DNS/DHCP
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • VMware vSphere or Horizon View experience.
  • SIEM, endpoint security, or security monitoring experience.
  • Certifications such as:
  • CCNA
  • PCNSE
  • CompTIA Network+
  • CompTIA Security+
