About the Role At Uncommon Architects, we're redefining what it means to design with purpose. We're currently looking for a Level I Architect who's ready to make an impact, not only on our projects but on our growing team.
As a key contributor, you'll manage exciting and diverse projects from concept to completion while mentoring junior staff, collaborating with clients, and helping shape the future of our firm.
What You'll Do
- Manage projects through all phases from design to delivery.
- Overseeing project coordination tasks like scheduling, reviewing work, and ensuring accuracy.
- Building and maintaining client relationships, managing expectations, and fostering long-term connections.
- Supporting team growth with training, feedback, and collaboration.
- Juggling multiple roles, brainstorming creative solutions, and staying ahead of project needs., We work on a variety of project types, including institutional, residential, healthcare, and more, ensuring you'll always find new challenges to inspire you and foster growth in your career.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Zoning regulations?, We're looking for someone with:
- A professional degree in architecture (M.Arch or B.Arch) and licensed architect.
- 3+ years of architectural design experience, including 1+ years managing projects.
- Strong technical skills in Revit, CAD, and Adobe Creative Suite, plus experience with rendering tools like Rhino and Lumion.
- A solid understanding of building codes, construction documents, and zoning ordinances.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Most importantly, we want someone who's reliable, detail-oriented, and values creativity and collaboration.

Additional Requirements:
- Some travel is required, and most will be local however 1-2 day trips may be needed occasionally.
