Job description
As IT System Engineer, you ensure the technical integrity, stability, security and performance of REAZN's IT infrastructure. You design, implement and maintain scalable enterprise environments, providing robust and highly available platforms that enable smooth day-to-day operations. Through secure, efficient and automated infrastructure management, you actively support business continuity, future growth and innovation., * You set up, maintain and improve our server and cloud environments, ensuring they are reliable and always available.
- You proactively monitor systems, optimize performance and ensure the continuous, stable operation of all systems.
- You safeguard company data by managing firewalls, user access and security policies, ensuring systems comply with internal security requirements.
- You manage and test backups, replication and recovery processes using tools such as Veeam, ensuring the business can continue operating in case of incidents.
- You maintain and troubleshoot the company network, working with Aruba switches and AP's, routers, firewalls and a security system, ensuring secure and stable connectivity.
- You provide first-line support for IT-related questions from employees. You also act as second-line support for more complex challenges related to hardware, software, networking and cloud services.
- You improve efficiency by standardizing hardware and automating recurring IT processes.
- You keep the IT environment well documented and contribute to internal knowledge articles in TOPdesk.
- You can take the lead on smaller infrastructure projects such as system migrations, cloud integrations or technology rollouts, with support from the IT System Administrator.
- You report to the IT/OT Manager.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows?, * You have 5+ years of experience in a complex, enterprise IT infrastructure, supporting Windows and Linux environments.
- You have solid hands-on experience/knowledge in workplace technologies, networking and datacentre infrastructures and you apply best practices to ensure stability and performance.
- You have experience leading smaller technical projects, such as system migrations, infrastructure upgrades or new service rollouts.
- You are user-oriented and communicative, acting as a first-line contact for end users and translating technical topics into clear, business-friendly language.
- You speak English and knowledge of French is a plus.
- You approach complex second-line issues with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- You hold relevant IT certifications (e.g. Microsoft role-based (Azure, Modern Workplace, Microsoft 365, …), VMware, HPE Aruba, Red Hat Linux) which are considered a plus.
