At the Faculty of Computer Science, Institute of Artificial Intelligence, the Chair of Machine Learning for Computer Vision offers a position as Research Associate / PostDoc (m/f/x) Machine Learning and Discrete Mathematics (subject to personal qualification, employees are remunerated according to salary group E 13 TV-L) starting at the earliest possible date. The position is limited to three years. The period of employment is governed by the Fixed Term Research Contracts Act (Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz - WissZeitVG). The position offers the chance to obtain further academic qualification (usually habilitation thesis). Tasks: * independent, curiosity-driven basic scientific research in one of the following areas: * Machine Learning and Combinatorial Optimization * Machine Learning and Automated Theorem Proving publication of research results in leading journals and at top conferences
