Software Engineer - Marketing Platform

As a Fullstack Engineer, you will create a best-of-class user experience for our fashion brands advertising on Zalando, helping them bring the best products to our customers. The role is mainly Backend focused but there will be multiple instances where some Frontend capabilities will come into play.

WHAT WE'D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

• Build and improve the campaign management tool that lets our fashion brands directly plan, execute and monitor advertising campaigns on Zalando's advertisement platform
• Evaluate and Implement leading-edge technologies and optimise platform performance in terms of throughput, read-latency, scalability, and reliability.
• Take end-to-end responsibility for projects in a cross-functional team and iterate quickly during the product development cycle. As well as, ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, product managers, and engineering peers.
• Share your knowledge with your colleagues and help them grow their technical skills.

Do you have experience in TypeScript?, * You have 3+ years of experience in software development with Java and/or Javascript, proficiency in designing and developing APIs and Event-driven services.

• You have experience in developing web applications with Typescript, React and GraphQL.
• You have solid knowledge of operational excellence and cloud-oriented infrastructure (AWS, k8s, etc.)
• Kubernetes and Data engineering knowledge is a plus
