Job description

As a Senior Monetization Manager (m/f/x), you will join the Product Live Operations team to shape how our rewarded ad platform delivers high-value campaigns for free-to-play (F2P) mobile game developers. Working closely with game studios and internal teams, you ensure reward flows and value propositions integrate seamlessly with each game's monetization and progression design.

In this role, you will analyze user behavior, campaign performance, and partner needs to identify opportunities that maximize revenue outcomes for our advertisers, while safeguarding a positive player experience. Acting as a key link between our B2C product and our B2B advertiser clients, you will help drive both commercial success and player satisfaction.

What You'll Own:

  • Define and optimize rewarded ad monetization strategies across our platform, ensuring they complement in-game economies and progression structures.
  • Analyze user acquisition and user behaviour data to identify high-value opportunities that improve campaign performance, reward experiences and platform performance.
  • Collaborate with product, design, analytics and sales teams to develop reward experiences that feel native to games monetization flows.
  • Translate insights into actionable recommendations for improving ad formats, reward logic and value delivery to both players and partners.
  • Lead experiments and A/B tests to validate new reward concepts, optimize placement strategies and refine predictive models for reward flow experiences.
  • Communicate results and strategic recommendations clearly to internal stakeholders and advertisers.
  • Monitor industry trends in F2P gaming, rewarded ads, and mobile monetization to inform our product roadmap and strategy., * Ambitious people, real ownership. Work with driven people who challenge each other openly and take full ownership of meaningful parts of the business.
  • A company that prioritizes growth, performance, and impact. Comfort isn't the goal here, progress is. We set a high bar and focus on delivering real results.
  • A highly ambitious environment with a clear goal. Building the next European tech challenger is not just an idea, it is our mission. Everything we do is driven by the ambition to compete at the highest level and win.
  • Direct exposure to leadership and real decision-making. You'll work closely with experienced leaders, contribute to strategic discussions, and see how decisions shape the business in real time.
  • Perks that help you focus on what matters. Transport subsidy, learning budget, wellness and gym, workation, bi-weekly team lunches, and more. The perks are great, but the real reason people join and stay is the challenge, the ownership, and the drive to win together.

Please note: this is not a remote only position, we offer you a flexible hybrid model here in Hamburg, Germany - working from home on Mondays & Fridays, coming to the office on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday!

Requirements

  • Experienced: 5+ years of experience in monetization, user acquisition (UA), or AdTech, ideally within the F2P mobile gaming ecosystem. Proven track record of improving revenue or campaign performance.
  • Expert: Deep understanding of AdTech, rewarded player environments, and strategies that optimize player engagement and lifetime value.
  • Analytical: Strong ability to work with large datasets, conduct predictive analytics, and design experiments that inform revenue and campaign decisions.
  • Technical: Skilled in data-driven optimization with experience in analytics tools and methodologies relevant to monetization and UA.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills with a history of working cross-functionally with product, data, sales, and external game development teams.
  • Passion for the industry: Enthusiastic about mobile gaming and player psychology, with a keen sense for value perception in rewarded environments.

About the company

Inmox is a deep-tech startup based in Vienna, founded in 2021 by two engineers. We develop patented sensors and predictive software that tell industrial machines when a component is about to fail before it actually does.

We build the full stack: from hardware to data models to customer-facing platform. Our team of 10 works across embedded systems, data science, and software engineering with short decision paths, real ownership, and the kind of problems you won't find at a corporate job.
