Job description

  • Lead the delivery of software projects from planning to release, ensuring timelines, quality, and budget targets are met
  • Set up project structure, planning, milestones, and reporting for clear execution and transparency
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management to refine requirements, clarify scope, and align on roadmap priorities
  • Coordinate with Regulatory, Quality, and Clinical teams to ensure software development aligns with medical device standards
  • Drive continuous improvement in team processes, communication, and delivery effectiveness
  • Establish and maintain strong communication with internal (cross-functional team of 10-15 engineers) and external stakeholders
  • Serve as the direct supervisor for engineers (line management responsibility)

Requirements

  • Several years of experience managing software projects end-to-end, ideally in medical devices or similar regulated industries
  • Proven people management experience (direct reports or team leadership)
  • Strong understanding of software life cylce processes (agile, release planning, backlog management)
  • Ability to coordinate across engineering, product, quality, and regulatory functions
  • Strong communication, structured problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or related field
