Job description

We are looking for a Design System Lead to supervise, foster collaboration and step-up the level of a talented team of UX/UI designers (mix of internals & externals) and IT development and make this transition.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of the Design System, ensuring consistency and efficiency across diverse platforms and products (all countries, all products, all BLs)

You will work closely with UX, Product Designers, Product Owners, Project Managers, and Development Teams to establish and enforce design standards, manage resources effectively, and stay informed about emerging trends and technologies. Your collaboration will extend to cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and other stakeholders, to create a cohesive and innovative design environment.

What you'll be doing:

Currently, AXA Partners operates multiple Design Systems (more than five, stemming from legacy IT solutions), making it critical to migrate to a unified system for enhanced efficiency and cost-effectiveness. This transition is essential not only from a customer experience (CX), user experience (UX), and user interface (UI) perspective but also from an IT standpoint.

Furthermore, aligning with the new Design System of the AXA Group for the AXA Branch is paramount. Our design system must be adaptable to a BtoBtoC model, capable of managing a multi-brand approach that includes AXA-branded, co-branded, and whitelabel solutions. Your leadership will be instrumental in navigating these complexities, ensuring our Design System not only meets current needs but is also future-proofed for scalability and innovation
