Responsibilities - Technical Due Diligence - Lead deep technical audits of target companies: codebase, infrastructure, DevOps practices, and security posture. - Identify architectural weaknesses, scalability bottlenecks, and hidden technical debt. - Provide clear risk assessments that directly influence investment decisions. - Post-Merger Integration - Own the technical integration roadmap following acquisition. - Merge stacks, migrate data, and standardize infrastructure without disrupting live operations. - Lead the development for new features and improving existing ones. - Enforce security, monitoring, and performance standards across all acquired entities. - Architectural Leadership - Define and evolve the core technology stack across Catalyx Forge ventures. - Ensure modular, scalable architecture across diverse product lines (AI-driven platforms, transactional systems, content platforms). - Establish engineering best practices, CI/CD standards, and documentation frameworks. - AI & Innovation Oversight - Evaluate emerging technologies and third-party solutions (LLMs, image generation, AI tooling) versus in-house development. - Make strategic build-vs-buy decisions with a strong focus on IP ownership and long-term defensibility. - Keep the organization ahead of technological shifts that impact performance, automation, and competitive advantage. - Engineering Leadership - Set the technical bar across all ventures. - Step into underperforming engineering environments and rapidly assess, restructure, and stabilize teams. - Define roles, mentor, and retain tech teams aligned with a

Qualifications - A hands-on profile with the founders-mode mentality. - Ambition for growth and success in the projects he/she participates in, and a determined attitude to take risks. - Acting as "polyglot architect", with strong hands-on experience across Python , PHP (including legacy systems), NodeJS, and/or other languages. Equally comfortable with monolithic systems and microservices architectures. - Proven experience working with Cloud Computing, Docker, SQL/NoSQL databases and API integration. - Deep understanding of high-risk digital environments, including DDoS mitigation, injection vulnerabilities, data protection, and infrastructure hardening. You design resilient systems, not fragile applications. - M&A-Ready Technologist: proven experience conducting technical due diligence and leading post-acquisition integrations. - Dealing with a struggling engineering team, diagnosing systemic issues quickly, making decisive personnel and architectural changes, and restoring operational excellence within weeks. - Proficiency in English is required. Strong command of other languages is highly valued.
