stability and reliability. - Design and evolve event driven and streaming architectures using Kafka, enabling decoupling, scalability, and resilient integration across systems. - Shape workflow orchestration and automation approaches using Apache Airflow, promoting standardization where it adds value. - Define and govern cloud native and container based architectures (e.g. Kubernetes / OpenShift), ensuring secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions. - Drive performance, resiliency, and capacity architecture, addressing non functional requirements such as latency, throughput, availability, and observability. - Identify meaningful use cases to apply AI enabled solutions (e.g. automation, insight generation, operational efficiency), ensuring explainability and regulatory compliance. - Collaborate in Agile / Kanban setups, working closely with product owners, engineers, and stakeholders across multiple teams and domains. - Act as a trusted sparring partner for senior stakeholders
Requirements

What You Bring - Several years of experience as a Senior Solution Architect in complex, regulated, and performance critical environments. - Strong architectural background across multiple technologies and platforms, with the ability to switch context between topics and initiatives over time. - Proven experience in cloud, container, and platform architectures (e.g. Kubernetes / OpenShift). - Solid expertise in event driven and integration architectures, particularly with Apache Kafka. - Experience with workflow orchestration platforms such as Apache Airflow, including operational and cloud native considerations. - Demonstrated ability to build PoCs, experiment, and translate complex technical findings into robust, production ready architectures. - A mindset that embraces ownership, autonomy, and responsibility, combined with a strong drive for quality and sustainability. - Comfort working in Agile and Kanban environments, with a pragmatic and collaborative approach. - Curiosity and motivation to work on complex, cross system challenges rather than focusing on a single application or technology. - Excellent analytical and conceptual skills, paired with the ability to communicate clearly with technical and non technical stakeholders. - Very good English skills at business and technical level; German is an advantage.
