At Driblab we are developing a cutting-edge project that leverages computer vision and machine learning to extract tracking data and physical metrics from football matches. Using broadcast video as input, multiple models and techniques detect and follow players and the ball, reconstructing their movements throughout the game. This data is processed to generate high-value insights such as distance covered, sprint speed, positional heatmaps, and tactical dynamics-without specialised camera systems-providing clubs and analysts with scalable, affordable access to advanced performance data. Responsibilities - Instrument the various applications you develop to collect usage metrics and statistics. - Use that information to identify opportunities and deliver value based on data. - Turn needs and opportunities into actionable hypotheses, providing context, acceptance criteria and a clear definition of "success". - Prioritise items within a roadmap you manage, balancing cost, value and the company's strategy. - Deliver new features and updates, providing realistic estimates. Qualifications - Python and libraries such as Numpy, Pandas and Pickle. - Machine-Learning experience with a focus on OpenCV and TensorFlow or PyTorch. - Advanced SQL proficiency. - Version control with Git. - Knowledge of CNNs, Siamese Networks and Triplet Networks. - Experience with Optuna, GridSearch or XGBoost. - Willingness to learn new languages or tools as required by the project. - Fluency in English. - Experience in Unix systems. Ideally - Interest in and knowledge about football. - Previous work on a project that combines Computer Vision and Football. - Experience managing teams. - Fluency in Spanish.
