Job description

We are transforming our business by driving the industry norm and challenging ourselves, fostering a culture of internal and external collaboration, and building on our unique engineering capabilities to optimize existing and create new products and solutions for our customers that cater to real mobility needs., We are looking for a (Senior) Technical Expert (d/f/m) with strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central to join our IT Applications team. Our current ERP landscape is based on Navision 2018 across eight countries, with an ongoing transformation to Business Central as our cloud-based target platform.

In this role, you will design scalable solutions, assess technical requirements, and ensure a robust and future-ready application and integration landscape, including Azure-based APIs (APIM).

Your responsibilities in more detail:

  • Collaborate with Business Analysts to refine and validate technical requirements (RfCs)
  • Design scalable, sustainable application and integration solutions
  • Ensure solution quality through testing support and early defect resolution
  • Monitor system performance, stability, and technical health
  • Act as 3rd-level support for complex incidents (ServiceNow)
  • Maintain and enhance technical documentation and knowledge base
  • Drive continuous improvements in performance, scalability, and maintainability
  • Design and optimize integrations using Azure services (e.g., APIM)
  • Support secure, end-to-end connectivity across applications
  • Plan and execute deployments across all environments
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on integrated solution architectures

Requirements

Do you have experience in ServiceNow?, * Degree in Computer Science, IT, or comparable qualification

  • Several years of experience in Dynamics NAV / Business Central (e.g., Technical Consultant, Solution Architect, Senior Developer)
  • Strong expertise in architecture, development, customization, and troubleshooting
  • Experience with AL (ideally also C/AL) and deployment processes
  • Solid understanding of Azure services (e.g., APIM, Logic Apps, Functions)
  • Experience with API-based integrations in cloud environments
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Strong analytical skills, structured working style, and clear communication

What would make you stand out among other candidates?

  • Proven experience in technical leadership for Business Central implementation or migration projects, ideally from NAV to Business Central.
  • Hands-on expertise with Azure-based integration architecture, especially Azure API Management (APIM) and API-led connectivity between ERP and surrounding applications.
