Job description

You will join the central engineering function responsible for building secure, automated, and scalable services across Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, and on-premise environments. You will work closely with Cloud, Network, Security, and Operations teams to expand our automation ecosystem, enhance reliability, and enable self-service capabilities across the organization. Your Role Design, develop, and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform/Open Tofu, Ansible, Azure Bicep, AWS Cloud Formation, Palo Alto and Cisco infrastructure. Build reusable automation modules for cloud, Kubernetes, and datacenter environments. Automate provisioning, configuration, patching, compliance, and lifecycle operations. Develop orchestration workflows integrating cloud, network, identity, and monitoring systems. Build self-service automation via Service Now catalog items and Git Hub Actions workflows. Automate

Requirements

Kubernetes cluster operations, deployment patterns, and policy management. Implement hybrid-cloud automation spanning Azure, AWS, and on-prem infrastructure. Integrate observability, logging, monitoring, and SLO/SLA definitions into automation processes. Build governance automation and policy-as-code guardrails. Reduce operational workload through event-driven and automated workflows. Contribute to Straumann's automation standards and engineering patterns. Share knowledge and mentor engineers across teams. Your Profile Essential Technical Skills Advanced experience with Terraform/Open Tofu, Ansible, Git Hub Actions/runners, and scripting (Python, Javascript, Power Shell, and Bash). Strong hands-on automation experience in Saa S and Cloud based platforms (Azure and AWS) with an API-first approach. Kubernetes engineering experience covering cluster operations, Git Ops patterns, and policy management. Experience building automation with Service Now catalog items and workflows. Understanding of networking, identity platforms, security platforms and cloud governance. Experience Several years in infrastructure, platform engineering, Dev Ops, or Site Reliability Engineering. Proven delivery of automation and orchestration across hybrid or multi-cloud environments. Ability to document, communicate, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
