Job description
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a MES Engineer located in Oostrum, North Limburg, Netherlands.
Reporting to the Senior IT Manager, the MES Engineer will be responsible for providing technical administration and implementation support for one or more applications. The role ensures ITIL best practices are consistently followed and delivers enterprise IT solutions designed around web-based applications. The position also focuses on aligning IT services with business needs, while maintaining system stability and supporting the architecture, design, installation, and setup of applications.
What a typical day looks like:
- Manage and coordinate assigned projects end-to-end, ensuring proper design and delivery of solutions
- Support the definition, design, and implementation of infrastructure and application solutions
- Contribute to enterprise architecture planning and development activities
- Prepare and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for daily application and system support
- Ensure knowledge sharing of new technologies and implementations within the team
- Monitor system performance and ensure stability through proper controls and tools
- Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and customers
- Ensure adherence to SLAs and regularly review service performance with the business
- Oversee backup and retention policies to minimize data loss risks
- Ensure systems comply with security and regulatory requirements
- Propose and implement system enhancements to improve performance and reliability
- Support operational decision-making and ensure achievement of business and IT goals
- Contribute to policy development and execution impacting operational performance
- Ensure adherence to budgets, timelines, and performance expectations
Requirements
Do you have experience in Incident management?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in application support or IT operations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach
- Knowledge of system monitoring, incident management, and support processes
- Advanced English and (preferably) Dutch.
