UX/UI Designer

A high-impact, hands-on UX/UI contract where you'll shape user experiences that feel effortless and look polished. You'll simplify complex journeys, reduce friction, and create designs engineers can ship quickly without losing quality or accessibility.

What will you produce? Clear, implementation-ready design outputs, including:

• User journeys, task flows, and experience maps
• Wireframes and clickable prototypes (low to high fidelity)
• High-fidelity UI with interaction states (error, empty, loading, success)
• Design handover notes/specs that reduce developer guesswork
• Contributions to the design system (components, patterns, guidelines)

What will you be doing week to week?

• Collaborating with PO, BA, and Engineering to define problems and success metrics
• Running lightweight discovery: stakeholder interviews, quick audits, competitor/benchmark reviews
• Creating rapid prototypes to validate direction early
• Iterating designs based on feedback, constraints, and usability insights
• Ensuring consistency across journeys using a design system and accessibility standards
• Supporting build through clarifications, design QA, and refinements post-feedback

• A strong portfolio showing end-to-end UX thinking and clean UI execution
• Advanced Figma skills (components, auto layout, variants, prototyping)
• Excellent communication: you can explain why a design works
• A pragmatic approach: you can balance user needs with delivery constraints
• Confidence working in agile teams and moving at pace

Nice to have

• Accessibility knowledge (WCAG) and inclusive design practices
• Experience with design systems and scaling patterns across products
• Familiarity with usability testing (even lightweight)
