Job description

  • Serve as the key analytical point of contact for one of the fastest-growing areas of the business, leading forecasting and delivering analysis to support continued growth.
  • Liaise with c-suite and senior leadership, fulfilling data and report requests and developing strategies.
  • Create and implement AI and automation projects, primarily in Airtable.
  • Leverage VBA to automate manual processes.
  • Assist in the maintenance and development of Power BI reports.
  • Produce ad-hoc reports and perform detailed analysis of property data using Excel.
  • Write and optimise database queries.
  • Identify trends and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across the business.

Requirements

This is a Data Analyst role where you will be working as part of the analytics team within the Estates function, focusing on developing, analysing & creating tools/models/reports used by the business. You must have an analytical mindset, strong communication skills & be able to adapt to fast paced, ever changing business environments., Essential Skills:

  • Advanced Excel skills, including VBA and Power Query.
  • Experience in developing Power BI reports, including writing and optimising DAX measures.
  • Proficient in SQL, and experienced working with relational databases.
  • Understanding of financial concepts such as EBITDA, or an interest in developing financial knowledge is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Airtable is advantageous.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python or R is advantageous.
  • Background in commercial property, utilities or retail analytics is advantageous.
  • Able to hold your own in meetings and confident talking to senior stakeholders
  • Able to manage and prioritise workload.
  • Strong problem-solving ability & a commercial mindset
  • Able to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders with various levels of technical understanding.
  • Proactive, independent, self-starter who is ready to jump in and get things done
