Job description

Our MSP client is currently on a major expansion drive and is looking to onboard a number of experienced Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches to support the delivery of high profile, business critical programmes across its client portfolio. These assignments cover a broad range of industries, including financial services, retail, manufacturing, and telecoms, with additional opportunities across other enterprise environments. You will work alongside senior stakeholders, product and engineering teams, and wider delivery functions to embed strong agile ways of working, improve delivery predictability, and accelerate outcomes. Successful candidates will be delivery focused, confident operating in fast paced and governed environments, and comfortable working across multiple teams and stakeholders. The roles will suit professionals who can combine practical agile coaching with hands on facilitation, dependency management, and continuous improvement to drive measurable results., * Coach the Scrum Team, Product Owner, and wider organisation on Scrum practices, principles, and empirical delivery

  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand ups, refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring they are purposeful and timeboxed
  • Enable self organisation and cross functionality, helping teams improve definition of done, flow, and quality practices
  • Identify and remove impediments related to process, tools, environments, access, dependencies, or organisational blockers
  • Protect the team from unnecessary interruptions while maintaining healthy stakeholder engagement
  • Support backlog health by helping Product Owners with product goal definition, prioritisation, user story clarity, and acceptance criteria quality
  • Improve transparency through clear boards, metrics, and delivery reporting including velocity, burn down, cycle time, and flow measures
  • Manage cross team dependencies and facilitate coordination across multiple squads and time zones where required
  • Drive continuous improvement by turning retrospective outcomes into measurable changes and sustained team habits
  • Build strong partnerships with engineering, UX, architecture, data, security, risk, and operations teams to enable safe delivery
  • Contribute to wider agile adoption by sharing practices across Scrum Masters and helping uplift organisational maturity

Requirements

We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to establish and embed Scrum as defined in the Scrum Guide, improve team effectiveness, and help deliver high quality outcomes in fast paced environments. This is a servant leadership role focused on coaching, facilitation, continuous improvement, and removing impediments. You will work closely with Product Owners, engineering teams, and stakeholders to keep delivery aligned to goals, maintain momentum, and strengthen agile ways of working., * Strong hands on Scrum Master experience with proven ability to coach teams and improve delivery outcomes

  • Deep understanding of Scrum and agile principles, plus experience applying Kanban or hybrid models where appropriate
  • Strong facilitation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills
  • Confident impediment removal and ability to navigate organisational blockers
  • Comfortable working with distributed teams across multiple time zones
  • Experience with agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain agile concepts simply to any audience

Desirable

  • CSM, PSM, or equivalent certification
  • Experience in FinTech, banking, insurance, or regulated environments
  • Experience supporting Salesforce delivery programmes
  • Technical awareness such as microservices, Kubernetes, and modern engineering practices
  • Experience operating in secure environments and ability to work onsite at high frequency when required, with relevant clearance where applicable

Benefits & conditions

Rate Contract - £500 to £800 per day Permanent £75,000 to £80,000 plus benefits depending on domain and scope
